- Temperate rain forests are very diverse. They consist of flat lands, mountains, rivers and streams.
-An example of a rain forest consisting of a river is Provincial Park where the Chilliwack River flows.
-When the temperatures increase, snow melts and the size of the river increases.
-Wildflowers are very commonly found in temperate rain forests.
-Temperate rain forests are usually found on terrain that contains some hills or is flatland. Temperate rain forests thrive near a water source, which is why all of the temperate rain forests are located on or near the coast.
